第五届新能源与电力工程国际学术会议(ICNEPE 2025)
The 2025 5th International Conference on New Energy and Power Engineering (ICNEPE 2025) was successfully held from November 14 to 16 in Guangzhou, China. Organized by South China University of Technology and undertaken by its School of Electric Power, the conference received strong support from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the IEEE PES Technical Committee on Smart Buildings, Loads and Customer Systems (China), Shenyang University of Technology, and Leuphana University.
Bringing together top scholars and industry experts from around the globe, the event facilitated in-depth exchanges on frontier topics including wind energy, solar energy, biomass energy, smart grids, energy storage technologies, and microgrids. Following the opening ceremony, six keynote speakers delivered captivating keynote speeches, focus on Artificial intelligence empowering the coordinated optimization of new power systems and renewable energy, advanced power electronics control technologies and innovations in motor drives, green energy conversion technologies and sustainable development of hydrogen energy.
第五届新能源与电力工程国际学术会议(ICNEPE 2025)于11月14日至16日在中国广州举办。本次大会由华南理工大学主办,华南理工大学电力学院承办,并得到了电气电子工程师学会(IEEE)、IEEE PES智慧楼宇、负载和客户系统技术委员会(中国)、沈阳工业大学以及吕讷堡大学等单位的鼎力支持。会议汇聚了全球能源与电力领域的顶尖学者与行业专家,围绕风能、太阳能、生物质能、智能电网、储能技术及微电网等前沿议题展开了深入交流。

Stability and Control of New Power Systems: Explored key technologies including voltage support characteristics of grid-forming converters, suppression of interaction instability in parallel systems with multiple hybrid control converters, and coordinated fault ride-through for flexible HVDC systems.
New Energy Generation and Accommodation: Covered dynamic collaborative operation of multi-electrolyzers for off-grid large-scale wind and solar accommodation, energy management for hydrogen fuel cell hybrid ships, and PV inverter designs with power decoupling functions.
Power Equipment Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis: Included online monitoring of capacitive voltage transformers, aging mechanisms of GIS basin insulators, simulation of traveling wave protection for transmission lines, and fault identification methods based on multi-source information fusion.
Energy Economics and Market Mechanisms: Analyzed evolutionary games in the green certificate market under government reward and punishment mechanisms, cost allocation methods for photovoltaic-storage buildings, and risk assessment for power battery recycling.
Intelligent Algorithms and Load Forecasting: Showcased new algorithms for power load forecasting based on time-mode decomposition, modeling of low-temperature lithium iron phosphate batteries, and anomaly detection for relay protection devices.
Infrastructure Safety and Reliability: Included reliability calculations for girth welds in high-grade steel pipelines, and online risk rating and optimal scheduling for mountain fire disasters in provincial power grids.

智能算法与负荷预测: 展示了基于时间模态分解的电力负荷预测、低温磷酸铁锂电池建模以及继电保护装置异常检测的新算法。

The conference program was divided into keynote speeches and oral presentation sessions. During the event, awards for outstanding papers, excellent oral presentations, and best posters were also organized and presented on site.

The conference not only established a high-level platform for exchange among experts and scholars in the global new energy and power engineering fields, fostering international cooperation and innovation, but also provided important theoretical basis and technical pathways for promoting energy transition and achieving "Dual Carbon" goals. With the successful conclusion of all agenda items, ICNEPE 2025 has drawn to a close. We look forward to gathering again next year to write a new chapter in the future of energy!
