第四届新能源与电力工程国际学术会议（ICNEPE 2024）
The 2024 4th International Conference on New Energy and Power Engineering (ICNEPE 2024), hosted by South China University of Technology and organized by Guangzhou City University of Science and Technology, with technically supported by IEEE, was successfully held in Guangzhou from November 8 to 10, 2024. More than 200 participants attended in person, creating a diverse and vibrant platform for academic exchange. Attendees engaged in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge research results and innovative ideas in the fields of new energy and power grids, actively sharing their research experiences and insights, showcasing the latest progress in technological innovation, theoretical exploration, and practical applications in these areas.
The conference agenda was divided into morning and afternoon sessions. The morning of November 9 featured keynote presentations, while the afternoon session included a forum on the development of new power systems and power education reform. The program included keynote speeches and oral presentations. During the conference, sessions were also dedicated to awarding outstanding papers, oral presentations, and posters, as well as academic interviews, with awards presented on-site to the recipients.
由华南理工大学主办，广州城市理工学院承办，IEEE、IEEE广州分会、IEEE PES智慧楼宇、负载和客户系统技术委员会(中国)、华南理工大学爱思科研究中心、中大学术交流研究中心提供会议支持的第四届新能源与电力工程国际学术会议（ICNEPE 2024）于2024年11月8—10日在广州顺利召开，现场逾200人与会交流，形成了一个多元化且活跃的学术交流平台。与会代表们深入探讨了新能源、电力电网领域的前沿研究成果与创新思想，积极分享各自的研究经验与见解，展现了该领域在技术创新、理论探讨及应用实践等方面的最新进展。
本次大会报告议程分为上午、下午两个部分。9日上午为大会报告，下午会议设置新型电力系统发展及电力教育改革论坛。包含主讲报告以及口头报告环节，会议期间还设置了优秀论文、优秀口头报告以及优秀海报评选、学术采访等环节，并现场为优秀奖项获得者颁奖。

The afternoon forum on November 9, focused on the development of new power systems and power education reform, featured keynote presentations by four distinguished guests from Southwest Jiaotong University, Raman University, Shenyang University of Technology, and the University of Southern Denmark. Drawing from their respective research backgrounds, they conducted in-depth discussions on the latest research progress, covering topics such as disciplinary education, new energy engineering, and smart energy power.
9日下午的新型电力系统发展及电力教育改革论坛分别有西南交通大学、拉曼大学、沈阳工业大学、南丹麦大学的四位嘉宾进行主讲报告。他们基于各自的研究背景，深入探讨了最新的研究进展，内容涵盖了学科教育，新能源工程、智慧能源电力等内容。
After the keynote presentation session concluded, nine scholars from universities and research institutes including Shandong University, Qinghai University, China Southern Power Grid Research Institute Co., Ltd., and Guangzhou City University of Science and Technology delivered oral presentations. Following these excellent presentations, three outstanding oral presenters were selected onsite, and the conference presented commemorative trophies to the awardees.
主讲报告环节结束后，有来自山东大学、青海大学、南方电网科学研究院有限责任公司、广州城市理工学院等高校、科研院所的9位学者进行了口头报告分享。在精彩的分享报告结束后，现场评选了3名优秀口头报告学者，大会为获奖学者颁发了纪念奖杯。
To encourage young scholars to actively participate in academic exchange and innovative research, this conference specially established three award categories: “Outstanding Paper,” “Outstanding Oral Presentation,” and “Outstanding Poster.” After rigorous review and comprehensive evaluation by the organizing committee experts, several scholars from institutions including Wuhan University, Shenzhen University, and Guangdong University of Petrochemical Technology stood out at the conference and received various honors.
2024 4th International Conference on New Energy and Power Engineering (ICNEPE 2024) was successfully concluded amid enthusiastic applause from the participants. We hope this conference has provided everyone with fresh academic perspectives and insights. Let us all look forward to ICNEPE 2025, where we will reunite to celebrate another grand academic event.
